Our story

Tavlin Distillery was born in the Judean Mountains from a shared dream between two neighbors, Eli and Amir. What began as casual conversations over fine drinks turned into a full-scale pursuit of crafting spirits that tell a story.

Eli, American-born and always chasing creative passions, spent years in a career he didn’t enjoy before deciding to build something meaningful. With a love for travel, flavor, and craftsmanship, he discovered gin as the perfect canvas to showcase the tastes of Israel.

Amir, a native Israeli and former department head in the school system, had retired only to follow his passion for wine, spirits, and hospitality. A certified sommelier — who famously passed his exam by nose alone — Amir traveled through Europe to master the art of distilling.

Together, they distill gins that celebrate local botanicals, creativity, and connection. Every batch is handcrafted, every bottle is a collectible, and every sip is meant to be shared.
