Tavlin Distillery was born in the Judean Mountains from a shared dream between two neighbors, Eli and Amir. What began as casual conversations over fine drinks grew into a passionate pursuit of crafting spirits that tell a story.

Eli, American-born and always drawn to creative pursuits, spent years in a career he didn’t enjoy before deciding to build something meaningful. Inspired by travel, flavor, and craftsmanship, he discovered gin as the perfect canvas for showcasing the tastes of Israel.

Amir, a native Israeli and former department head in the education system, retired only to follow his passion for wine, spirits, and hospitality. A certified sommelier—who famously passed his exam using his sense of smell alone—Amir traveled throughout Europe to master the art of distillation.

Together, they create gins that celebrate local botanicals, creativity, and human connection. Every batch is handcrafted, every bottle is a collectible, and every sip is meant to be shared.
